As a member of RNAO, you automatically become a member of the Canadian Nurses Association, and the International Council of Nurses.
RNAO members enjoy discounts on fees for conferences, workshops and Chapter events
The RNAO Education Guide is a listing of educational grants, bursaries and scholarships, as well as educational facilities that offer nursing programs in Ontario.
After one year of membership, RNAO members and associates are eligible to apply for an education loan. Repayment of your loan does not start until after the completion of your course. There is no interest until one year after repayment begins. Interest is prime plus 1%.

Membership in the Canadian Nurses Protective Society is automatically included in your RNAO membership. (Undergraduate Nursing Students who are not yet registered with the CNO are excluded).
The RNAO has developed a new disability plan for its members. It is available to you at a low cost through the combined purchasing power of the association.
The NurseInsure program is an additional, optional benefit of RNAO membership. The program is designed to provide RNAO members professional liability (medical malpractice) insurance for the practice of nursing as defined by College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
You automatically become a member of an RNAO chapter when you join the Association. Chapter activities at the community-level provide a forum for dialogue and exchange with your colleagues.
RNAO's nurse career counselor is available to help you with career planning. Services provided vary depending on the individual nurse's needs and are completely confidential.
