Rebecca Ganann is a Doctoral student and Instructor in the School of Nursing at McMaster University. She is an experienced Public Health practitioner who has worked with pregnant and parenting women and their families. Her research interests include immigrant women, reproductive and infant health, service accessibility, knowledge translation, and community health nursing. Her doctoral research is focused on factors influencing immigrant women’s postpartum health status, postpartum depression, and service access, including the influence of neighbourhood features on health. Furthermore, she will explore immigrant women’s perceptions of health, as well as facilitators and barriers to care. |

Maternal Childbirth Nurses' Interest Group Continuing Education Support Fund
Apply by: Requests for funding will be considered on a first come first served basis within the January to December budget year
The Maternal Childbirth Nurses' Interest Group (MCNIG) is offering financial support through this fund for nonprofit educational events throughout Ontario. We hope to encourage the development of informal, grassroots-type programs through this fund.
CNA Perinatal Certification Award

The purpose of this award is to provide an opportunity to Registered Nurses who wish to obtain the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) Certification in Perinatal Nursing. This certification is open to all Registered Nurses. To qualify, you must meet CNA specific eligible criteria.
