Have you read the latest copy of the Standard from the College of Nurses of Ontario?
Through the Self-Assessment process, you must identify your learning needs in relation to the two practice standards selected for the Quality Assessment Program. The learning needs must incorporate the following elements:
- advances in technology
- changes in the practice environment
- Entry-to-Practice competencies
- interprofessional care
Need some help? The RNAO and the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care are pleased to offer staff an opportunity to learn about the benefits of eHealth. A free online Nursing and eHealth Education program was developed to increase the level of knowledge, understanding, and expertise of nurses.
You may take the course by going through it in sequence or by accessing those modules you think would be most useful. At the completion of the course, you will receive a certificate for your education portfolio.
